my baby sister moved back to new york to be with my sister, their children and her husband as well. my sister's pregnant and it dues on december 30th. it could be 31st, earlier or late. who knows? it will be 4th child and the first three is all boys. hoorah! i have 3 sisters and i have 4 nephews. yelena has 3 sons and the fourth child is expecting this month. ruty has one son. yaffa is our baby sister. she's only 18 years old. and no, i do not have kids. we will have kids eventually. anyway, the point is that yaffa will be around to help yelena when newborn arrives. she wanted a baby girl. i told her that i feel it's a boy. we are going to find out soon.
i just made stir fry with chicken, cherry tomatoes, garlic and scallions. the chicken strips were marinated with salt, pepper, peanut oil, soy sauce and sweet chili sauce. i could have make it from scratch but i don't have everything, i.e., equipment to make a sauce or anything. the kitchen is small, it's good for two people. we are planning to get a house so i can buy a lot of things for kitchen. come on, i am a chef so i expect to have everything so i am all set. anyway, it was good. next time, i will make something different. and, oh, it served with jasmine rice.
i can't believe that football is almost over. i don't know about the giants. will they make it to the playoffs? that's the question. i have a feeling that we will make it for wild card spot. and we will lost in the first round. i am okay with that. either vikings or colts will win it all. saints? no, no.
the job hunting is still no lucky. but tomorrow is going to be long day for me. job fair, it is. they are building a new resort in tempe, arizona and they have open 650+ positions that it need to be filled. i am all done with my resumes and cover letters. and yes, my portfolio as well.
be well, boys and girls.
